Check-in, Lunch, and Introductions (9 a.m.-1:30 p.m.)
Students, guests, and family are all welcome to these activities.

Contact the Department of Housing at 734.487.1300 for details. - Campus Tour (10:45-11:45 a.m.) Student Center Info Desk
This tour is optional. It is especially useful to people who have not visited the campus before. - Orientation Check-in (11:30-11:55 a.m.) Student Center Info Desk
- Welcome Luncheon (Noon-1:30 p.m.) Student Center Ballroom
Open the day with a sit-down lunch with your new classmates. Meal tickets are provided for registered students and guests. - EMU Presentation (12:45-1:30 p.m.) Student Center Auditorium

Family/Guest Program (1:30-3:30 p.m.)
These sessions are tailored for guests and family only.

We'll discuss a wide range of topics, from academic integrity to respecting differences to how to take responsibility for your learning. - Using Your my.emich Account (2:15-2:45 p.m.) Ballroom
Current EMU students will walk you through the EMU my.emich portal.
This is where you will find your email, register for classes, view your bill, learn about campus events, and check your grades - Break (2:45-3:00 p.m.)
- Life at EMU small group time (3:00-3:30 p.m.) Student Center, Various Locations
- Join small groups led by upper class students for an opportunity to make some new friends and ask questions about to expect at EMU.
College Success Session Round 1 (3:40-4:10 p.m.)
These sessions are for students, guests, and family, and attending separate sessions will help to maximize learning.

- Your Financial Life at EMU (Room 352)
EMU's Financial Aid staff who will provide student and families of basic understanding of navigating the financial waters. - Leadership and Involvement at EMU (Room 330)
There are hundreds of opportunities for students to find their niche at EMU. This session will highlight ways that you can make the most out of your collegiate experience. - Life in the Classroom (Room 320) Required for all Freshmen
EMU faculty and support staff tell it like it is--understanding the syllabus, office hours, what to expect on your first day of classes, and mastering the studying domain. - The Honors College at EMU (Room 350)
The Honors College offers highly qualified and motivated students a small college experience with all the benefits of a large university. Come learn what opportunities are available in the Honors College for both first-year and transfer students.
